My Lovely Hand Bouquet

Its almost a month after our wedding day, still thinking of that day on the memorable moments. We really enjoyed the moments and we will keep this lovely moments in our memories always!

Here is my lovely and beautiful hand bouquet. This is done by my wedding planner, Evan from Precious Moments. What I want is a more free style arrangement of some wild flowers, so as it wont look so need in the arrangement. And she did it so well!!! I really need to thank her in the effort of searching hign and low for all types of purple & pink color flower for this hand bouquet. All the flowers are so lovely and sweet. Especially the Poeny....1st time I seen a live Poeny. According to Evan, Poeny is a type of seasonal flowers and is hard to find. And I was lucky enough to meet Peony in the right season!

Its been more than a week after our wedding. Feels like time flies so fast and always hope that it will stop at the happy moments. Of cos this wont happen:(

All I can said is we have a great wedding with the help of our family and friends, but with 1 disappointment. I will blog about it later on.

Here I will follow up on my previous preparations on my wedding which I have no time to blog earlier.

Normally, we will have a small party at home a day before our wedding. So Anderson had his at our new house, so I had mine at my parents' house. I moved back a day before which according to the chinese tradition, we are supposed not to meet a day before the wedding. However, we still met and work on our wedding;p

We have ordered our catering from Banana cafe. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from them. The 1st time is for our previous house warming party. We received quite a good comment from our guests about them, so we decided to use them again this time. What I like about them is their decorations. They actually brought lots of decorative stuffs to decorate the buffet counter. And of cos, their food is also not bad.

Final Preparation For Our House

Can't believe that its only 3 days to go, this Saturday will be our wedding dy...time flies so fast!!

Taken day off from work, I stayed at home the whole day. Unfortunately, taking leave is not for rest, but to work loh:( Anderson has gone to JB to pick his parents down to KL, and I am suppose to stay home and had my final preparation for our house....to tidy up the house for our wedding all alone.....:(

Woke up in the morning, spent few hours to final touch up our DVD which will be played on our wedding dinner. Can't believe ourselves, we actually did our own DVD of 5 slideshows. Loves our creation and we hope our family, friends and guests will enjoy what we have done;)

After our DVD, I started arranging our wardrobe. Then I have my bedsheet changed. No super red bedsheet, just a simple pink bedsheet;)

I have taken some pictures....actually the main purpose is to test out my new camera. Picture quality is quite good...getting to like it;p Thanks hubby for the cam!

Tomorrow is another busy day. 1st, I have to dropped by office for some work. 2nd, to attend opening of a new restaurant by my sister in noon. 3rd, appointment with JJ Nail, then go home to pack up and get ready to go back to my mother's place. Later in the night, I will have to meet up with Fiona from Fifoto for site survey.

Phheewwww.....What a day! Hope I will get some rest at the end of the day....;)

Our Wedding Dowry Day

This is the chinese traditional custom that this day the bride side will bring all her dowries to the groom's house. And I am supposed to bring all my so-called dowries to Anderson's house. But we are staying together now and all my things are already in his house. So my mom just need to prepare me some sweet and dried fruits like longan, dates and rock sugars, and she also bought a box which has a pair of chopsticks and bowls for me to bring to Anderson's house. Better than not bringing anything loh...;p

Like others people had done, Mom said I also need to decorate a bit in our room. So I only decorated my dressing rooms where I bought some stickers and ribbons....but not red lah...I got purple ribbons to match my wedding theme;p

Finally, I can use the things which I have bought....the cosmetics and stuffs;) I have tied a small bow on all my cosmetics and as well as my tools. Seems to look a bit messy with the bow, but thats the way it has to be....the wedding feel!!

Our Guo Tai Lai Day

10 am in the morning, we carried a basket of fruits, with some dried fruits, a pair of 'Long fong zhuk' ( chinese wedding candles) and of cos not forgetting the angpao setting off to my Mom's house.

This day is our Guo Tai Lai day, where the groom is supposed to send some gifts and 'Lai Kam' for the bride's parents. There should be more stuffs like roast pig, dried seafood, wine, etc. My Mom wanna made us simple, so she only requested some fresh and dried fruits. So this is what we have prepared and she is happy;)

Our Wedding Favors

Yes! Only 15 days more to our wedding. And definitely I am getting more and more excited for the day now. Have been busy recently, not just on the preparation of this wedding but more on my work. Luckily I have a wedding planner, Evan, to help me on the rest of the preparation. Especially the coordination works with the hotel. If I were to coordinate with the hotel myself, then I will need lots more of my time as there will be lots of meetings and discussions. And till now, we are still in the mist of finalizing the coordination works. Furthermore, we have not finalized our guest lists yet....haiiiiiii...the most difficult task of the whole wedding! But this is the last thing that we need to do now at the moment;) Hope we will get this done by this week! Gambateh!

This Saturday will be our 'Guo Tai Lai' day, Anderson is supposed to bring some dried foods, fruits and of course the 'Lai Kam' angpao to my mother house...;p This will be a simpler version as agreed by my mom;p If not, he will have to bring more stuffs;p I will post more pics later.

Time flies and here we are, 27 days to go will be my wedding. Finally, we are done with our new house renovation and moved in. Only few more things to be touched up...some home decorations. Will post our new house soon after we are totally completed;)

After our new house project, my wedding preparation will continue. Today I received my 'Kar Lui Peng' which I have ordered about a month ago from Cakesmaniac. Its a box of 2 cupcakes, 2 different favour with purple swirl of cream topped with our initials. "A" for Anderson, "J' for Joy. And I would like to thanks Cheryl of Cakesmaniac for such a beautiful and sweet looking cuppies and of cos the delivery as well;p I like the cuppies a lot!

Updates on Our New House Renovations

Here I am, trying very hard to cope up with my tight schedule everyday.....working almost more than 12hrs a day, 7 days a week, running few places in a day!!! Time past very fast, our house has been renovated for 3 mths loh....but still not ready to move in! Haiiiiiiiiiiii!

Our initial plan is to renovate for 2 mths, then prepare for move in. We have even booked the mover to shift tomorrow(2/10) and today we were supposed to do the cleaning before moving in. Unfortunately, when we got the maids to go there this morning, we were surprised to see there are still lots of outstanding work not done! How to move tomorrow??? We cant even do our cleaning! Many workers are still drilling here and there, painting here and there...things were so messy!=="

By no choice, immediately we contacted our mover and asked them to change our moving. Luckily, they agreed to let us change the date without charging us the penalty;p

Now we have to stay back to our old house without Astro and internet soon....:(

The next planning moving date will be on the coming Monday, but Anderson can only help till 6pm as he is going to travel to Singapore for work:( Meaning I have to stay the 1st night in our new house alone with Boy....== Nothing much we can do now, just hopping that our contractors can finish their work asap so we can move in soon. So tired of moving house....

Everyday driving home from work, I will definitely passby an Ad billboard of this watch at the Eastin traffic light. And everytime I passed by with Anderson, I will say "This watch is so nice, wondering when can I own this watch hor???' Hehehe....I owned it now! But mine is without the diamonds, equally nice! Really a surprise for me, I didnt expect him to buy for me as I know this is quite ex;p

My Custom Made Angpao & Wishing Card

Long time no see guys! Sorry for being out of my wedding journal recently. I have been working for more than 12 hrs a day and have been working for 7 days a week!!!! basically I have been busy with my own restaurant and my routine work. Short of staff at Sango makes me worked as cashier everynite:( BTW, anyone interested of working as fulltime/partime waitress??? Please contact me;)

Ok, the main topic today is my Custom Made Signature Angpao & Wishing card. Having the same theme as my Wedding Invitation card and these are designed by my sis-in-law, Ching, too;)

You guys may ask me what is the Wishing card for??? Actually, I have a plan to have a wishing tree at the entrance of the ballroom on my wedding dinner nite. So rather than asking my guests to sign on the guest signature book, I will ask them to sign and write a short wishes for us on the card, then these cards will goes up hanging on the tree. After discussion with my wedding planner, she suggested me to have a teak arch to replace the wishing tree. Quite a good idea I thought! Killing 2 birds in 1 shot....I dont have to pay for another tree and anyway I have to spend on a wedding arch;) And the wishing cards can be as decorations.....hehe!

Sorry for being out of this blog recently. It is because I have been very busy for the past week. Beside busy with my wedding and house, we have another busy project to work on now. Yes!!!! We have just started our own business, Anderson & I own a Japanese Restaurant called Sango. This is a very rush and last minute decision for both of us....and we only thought about it for 3 days!!!! Can you imagine that? I cant believe it myself too@@ But we really LOVE the restaurant, one of the reason why we decided to take over in such rush timing.

This restaurant is called Sango, located in Crystal Crown Hotel PJ 2nd floor. It serves very traditional delicious Japanese food and especially its Yakitori. Our Chef, Kazuhiro Inose-san, he is well-known in his Yakitori and we loves them! And recently, we are having 'Eat all u can' dinner promotion. RM48++ and there are 72 dishes for you to choose! All I can say is super duper value deal!!

Dresses for sale!

Hi all, actually I am not supposed to sell things here, but I would like you guys to help me out. If you have been following me on this blog, you should know that I have bought my bridesmaids dresses. But unfortunately, 2 of my bridesmaids cant fit the dress. And I have no choice but to change the dress. So I am left with 10 dresses unuse:(

Thats the reason I am here, hoping that I can get those dress sold and buy another design dress to replace. Actually this dress is nice, but too bad cant fit all. The quality is also very good. I myself will keep 1, so I have another 9 pcs for sale now. Including all the shipping charges and the foreign exchange charges(as the dresses are from Taiwan), the dress will work out about RM90 per pcs. New Addition to our new house from Spore

We had plan to go JB to visit Anderson's parents and at the same time, we will take the opportunity to go Singapore to have some shopping. Actually, I have a purpose to go there too, which is to buy the wedding collection quilt cover set from the Aussino. I know that there is Aussino in KL, why would I have to go Singapore to buy leh??? Hehehe....the design that I wanted are unable to find in KL. The wedding collection where the 2 couple dolls are on the scooter. I got to see this design on my last trip to Singapore. I thought I can find it in KL, so I didnt get it the last time.

Other than this quilt cover set, we also went to Takashimaya to look for some stylish and special kind of home decoration stuffs.

Foshan Guangzhou Trip.....Furniture Hunting!

5 days 4 nights trip to Foshan Guangzhou, our purpose is to hunt for the remaining furniture that we want for our new house. It has been the 4th time to Foshan, and normally we will go on more cooler weather season. But this time, if not because of our new house moving plan, I wont choose to visit Guangzhou in such HOT weather loh!! I got myself so tan loh....even more tan than when I got back from my South Africa trip:( I really need to hide myself out from the sun from now on till my wedding day;p

This is considered the world largest furniture exhibition center which is about 3-4 times the size of Midvalley. There are lots of variety of furniture, whatever concept you name it, they will have it. And we spent about 2 full days going through all the shops and bought whatever we wanted. I remembered the 1st time I came here, the furniture are very cheap. But this time, things are getting more pricely. Maybe because more and more people are buying there. The reason we wanna shop there is because that place is a one stop furniture center. You will be able to get all your house furniture including decor there. In KL, maybe you will need to shop around few places and few locations to be able to get the things we wanted.

Of cos, we got what we wanted at a reasonable price there;)

My Completed Invitation Card

It has been a busy schedule for me for the past few weeks. We just got back from Foshan, Guangzhou. We had a fruitful trip and we managed to get what we wanted...with a little bit over our budget;p Haiiii......no more shopping for these few months:( I will post more pictures on our Guangzhou trip later.

After waiting for about 5 weeks, finally I have the chance to have a look at our invitation card. Yes....our invitation cards are finally completed. But I am not 100% happy on the outcome. 1st, the color of the cover is a bit different from our sample copy. 2nd, the color of the ribbon is not what I wanted:( The supplier only informed me of the color printing problem and the ribbon running out of stock after I got the actual copy. I was a bit disappointed loh....:( Its too late to change now as all the stock are being delivered.

I thought of asking the supplier to change the color of the ribbon. But the changing process is quite difficult and time consuming. And if not careful, the whole card may be damaged. After few consolations by Anderson & Ching, I decided to accept the card.

Renovation updates of our New House

Before we when on our furniture hunting on Saturday, we went to our new house for a peek. The house changes a lot from the original! Lots of walls are being hacked, as we intended to replace with glass wall. And the whole toilet in the master bedroom are being tear down too;p Cos I find the bathroom is too small for me....so I turn the 2 bath into 1 bath. All the tiles are being lifted up too.....we will be replacing all the tiles again. The original tiles are not suitable for our concept. And the small extention of room are also done!

We are getting quite excited about this house. And next week, we will be going to Guangzhou and do some furniture hunting for our house. Hope we will get something nice and interesting;)

My Wedding Invitation Card

I think I have spent a lots of time and effort confirming my wedding invitation card. And finally, I got it confirmed and its in printing process now.....phew!!!!

Lots of time and efforts spent is because, 1st I personally went to Jakarta to order the cards. 2nd, Many amendments done in the process of getting the design finalized. 3rd, cos the other party is in Jakarta and we only can communicate through emails....time consuming while waiting for reply and response. We were like emailing each other almost everyday for like few months! I am so glad now that I have completed another thing for my wedding. Now I will fullforce focusing on sourcing for furnitures, fittings and renovation materials for my new house. Hopefully, we can get the house in time before our wedding;) GamBaTeh!!!

But I really need to thank my sis-in-law, Ching, on the overall design of the card. She also spent lots of time designing and amending to suit the printing. Most of the credits should go to her;)

I think her design is nice.....simple and elegance. Thanks Babe!

Ok...I will promise myself and Anderson, these will be my last purchase of Kartell furnitures;p Enough!!! Thats it!!! Apparently, I called up to Kartell yesterday to order another 2 items again.

And this E' wall lamp, I ordered another 2 more. Intending to put it at my dressing above my Francios Ghost;p

Rosy color should be able to go along with my red Francios Ghost...

Hmmm...or shall I get the white instead to go along with my cabinet? Any comment???

More Kartell Furnitures Added to our New House;)

Not surprising, we went back to Kartell @ Garden and made lots of purchase again;) We ordered a lot more this time and we are getting excited about new house now;p They are just stylish and lovely, we cant help loving them! I hope that by having all these furnitures, will make our house more lively, colorful and stylish!!

This chair called the Mr Impossible, designed by Phillipe Stark. This will be our dining chair. We ordered the purple color one. A very stylish piece of work!

We are planning to have all different type and color of chairs for our dining. So below is another chair we have chosen. This is called the Thalya chair designed by Patrick Jouin and we are going to have the red one.

Here we go, this is the dining table we have got, Four. Simple, sleek and stylish! And you can customize the color loh....we got its top black and the legs aluminium to match the colorful chairs;)

This is another piece of work from Phillipe Stark that I like alot....the Francios Ghost mirror. This will be my dressing table mirror and its in red;)

The below piece is a very stylish and special bookshell, Lovely Rita. It evokes a repeatedly folded ribbon. We have considered quite a while before we confirmed the purchase, again because it is quite expensive. But at last, we bought the purple piece;p

On our previous purchase, we have bought this Optic coffee table in smoky color. This time, we bought another one in purple color. We are thinking to put both of them together and making it longer and bigger.

This is called the E, wall lamp that we will hang on the staircase wall.

This is the FL/Y lamp....simple and nice lamp for our small reading area in the living room. We got the emerald color;)

Other than Kartell, they also sell another designer's furnitures called the Magis. They are also from Italy and they are famous in their Bombo stools, which many people copied. Their furnitures are also very stylish and modern....suit our new house concept and we got 2 of their products.

The 1st one is the chair which will be another dining chair we have ordered, the Air Chair. This is a very comfortable chair loh....we got the green.

This is the last thing that we have bought....insisted by Anderson. He like it so much loh. This is a puppy stool from Magis...ain't they look cute. I am sure that all kids will like it when they visit our house!

Kartell Furnitures That We have Bought;)

Kartell, I am sure many of you will know this designers brand and Phillipe Stark is one of the major designer for their products. Since the very 1st day we popped into their showroom in Garden, we loves their furnitures. They are very stylish, innovative and colorful! 1st of all, I like the Bourgie table lamp. We considered a while is because, 1st it is quite expensive for a Plastic table lamp, and 2nd, there are lots of replica out there. And I have seen some of the replica, half the price, but I still prefer the original pieces. The finishing is better and nicer. Just feel better having the original piece.

There we goes, we went to Garden the Kartell showroom last Sunday. Ended up, not just buying the lamp, we have bought a few things more;p Their products are just so stylish and we both love them so much. Many people will wonder why we wanna spend such a money on just PLASTIC? Especially the older people maybe....But their plastic designs are just attractive and stylish! Cant help loving them!

And this have made both of us going into the showroom 3 times in a day! Hahaha....after buying the 1st 2 items, the showroom exe gave us their cataloge that made us going in again and ordered one thing more!

Other than the below items we have bought, we are still considering on the dining table. Their dining table is simple and nice. And they have got the color that I like, Black;) Most probably, I will get that, which Anderson is pursuading me to get. He likes Kartell a lot too...;)

This is the lamp that I 1st eyed it on. The Bourgie lamp. This can be seen in lots of interiors magazines. And we have bought the black one. This will be place in our living room on the side coffee table.

This is the 2nd item we have bought. Its called the Bookworms, a bookshell which can be bend in anyways you like. We have ordered a 5.2m long and red color. A very innovative piece of creation I think;)

This box is called the Optic, which is a coffee table with doors and you can put things inside. Very nice and stylish piece of table....and we bought the smoky color. Thinking of getting another one on purple color. Still considering, cause its a bit ex;p

Here are our prewedding photos by Covershots. This is the layout and exactly what my album will look like....I didnt add any photos, just a 30 pages album in the package plus a big frame photos. Some of you may think this is very simple, nothing much fancy, but thats the style we like;p Simple and nice! And I love the photos a lots!

We didnt spend much on the prewedding, as I find it too boring just to have picture of both of us. I like crowded and candid shots in pictures. So instead, I spent more on our event photography than in prewedding;) I like being shoot with my family and friends....capturing the moment of happiness naturally....just like what I have for my ROM by Fifoto. I love all the shots done by them. I am looking forward to the day now!

New Lightings for my New House

When we first visited this light house sometime ago in Bangsar, Inspired Designs, we both find the lightings there very modern and special. Its all designers lights from UK, which called the Innermost.
And I told Anderson, I must get these lights for sure!;p And we went to order the lights on last Sat and here are the lights that we have bought. Feel free to comment;)

The below lights are called the Marble, which I told Anderson, I must get them no matter what;p I love them when I 1st saw them. We have ordered 2 pcs, one red pendant light and other one black standing lights. Look at their reflection on the wall.....aren't they lovely! And we decided to have them place in our bedroom.

This is another lamp that I find it very special and nice, the Slide Kubo Inox. The cube is not just a lamp but can be multi-functional. It can be light, coffee table or even a sitting stool....amazing right. And it can be place outdoor too! This will be our family area coffee table;)

This below light is another designer light which called the Lighthouse. This can be found in some magazines. We bought the standing lamp and thinking of putting it in the living room;)

This is another lamp which we think we must have, called the Panzeri Floral from Zaneen;p Maybe we are abit impulsive in buying, but there is a very special feeling over this lamp. We did not actually seen the real thing in the showroom. We only got to see the picture in the cataloge shown by the shop owner. They told us this is the most talked about lamp in the lights exhibition in Italy. And most importantly, we both loves the lamp. So we have ordered for our dinning room;)

Yeah!! We Got Our New House Key loh;)

We are supposed to get those key 1 month ago....but due to some documents and lawyering problems, it had delay for about a month. Haiiiii.....long story! At that time, we are so frustrated as we can't do anything to speed up the process but only have to sit and wait. The problem is not with us, but between the Banker and the lawyer. Something that requested by the developer and the banker is not meeting them. Both party is insisting to stay firm in their way. Time running out as the developer is giving us dateline and if the bank is not releasing the money by the dateline, interest will be charged.

Finally, the bank agreed to meet the developer's requirement, and they released the money. Here we go....we got the key!

Now we have to plan and start our renovation ASAP! Time running fast, we and only have 4 mths for our renovation....hope we can make it!!

My Lovely Bridesmaid Dress & Bestman Bow Tie

Yes!!! Finally I have confirmed my bridesmaid dresses and got it all done well. I love them so much and a bit regret that I should have bought an extra piece for myself;p I have been struggling on which dress to buy and where should I get the dress from. And puzzling of getting the cheaper one or the more expensive one as I am afraid that the cheaper dress will look too cheap. Even though the price difference may not be much great in terms of a piece, but I gonna buy 10, the difference will be 10 times:( Still I wanna all my bridesmaid to look pretty and elegant. So I have made this choice! Hope all my beloved bridesmaid will like the dress too!

For those who did read my previous blog, I have got the 1st sexy dress;) But a different color, darker purple! These dresses are from Taiwan, and I only got to see the picture of the dress from the website. I was so afraid that they wont look as nice as the picture. Its quite a headache though but I am glad that the dress I have chosen is nice. And it took me about 2 weeks to communicate with the buyer and got everything confirmed before I went for my trip. And after 10days of holiday, the parcel are lying on my table when I got back to work today!

Kind of excited, therefore, I asked Jeslyn, my sister, to try it on and how does she look??? I think its nice loh...;)

And we have also got the sweet little purplely bow tie for Anderson's Manly Bestman....They will be wearing white shirt, with this bow tie....should be quite smart!

Most of the wedding preparations are all done by me and Anderson is just agreeing with me;) I feel so lucky and fortunate that I have the right and freedom to make all decisions....and having the dream wedding that I wish to have. Thanks dear! For letting me have the say...

But not everything he is going along with me woh....this is one of the things that he wants his way...wedding videography loh!

What I am doing all this while is just searching and shortlisting a few videographers for him to choose....sound a bit bossy hor! Ok lah....let him have the say for this in return of letting me have the freedom of the rest;)

After few surveys and searching...we have decided on Leonard Hon. Met him once....very nice guy, confident and loves videography. You guys can visit his blog or website for some video samples;)

I hope we will have a nice and touching wedding video for our wedding...;)

Our Post Married New Home Sweet Home

As part of our new married life....we have bought ourselves a new home sweet home....;) And this has become part of our wedding preparation. We have planned to renovate the house and moved in for our wedding....our new love nest!

We have been searching for houses since last year, and this is the house that we love the moment we saw the showhouse. But we considered for while before we paid the deposit...the main reason we considered a lot is the distance. I have been always staying near town area and asking me to move to outskirt I am afraid I will not use to the travelling. After several surveys and much considerations and discussion, We finally paid the deposit and confirmed this as our new home sweet home.

This is a property of Tan & Tan Development, the Laman @ Sierramas West project. It is a small taman with only 49 units 2 & 1/2 stories landed house, gated and guarded community with modern concept without gates in individual houses. Every each unit comes with spacious garden. Good security service with installation of panic button in every each rooms and a nice clubhouse with lots of facilities. Most importantly...nice and quite environment with lots of greens.

The unit that we have chosen is a 2 & 1/2 storey corner lot, with land area of 3025 sqft, built-up area of 2841 sqft, 3 bedrooms + a maid's room. What Anderson likes most is the spacious exterior land area for his Max...;p This is one of his requirements when looking for the right property. We will probably be getting the key for this month end or next. And we will be busy planning for renovation and getting it ready on time for our wedding. Time running fast....tight schedule but we are happy;)

My Shortlisted Bridesmaid Dresses

This is a very headache thing but I do enjoy every moment of it....choosing the right Bridesmaid dress. I have been searching through the internet for dresses....and I find it very difficult to make decision loh....especially with a budget...as if you do follow my previous blog, then you should know I have about 10 lovely bridesmaids...so budget is a bit tight for me as I have to buy 10 dresses...;p Hopefully Anderson can agreed on a bit higher budget for me;p OK or not dear???? OK lah....;)

I want all my bridesmaids to dress up nicely and beautifully....and make sure all of them look nice on the shoots;) There are a lots of nice dresses online, but I am afraid the real thing wont look as nice as the picture shown. So I have to buy 1 for sample, if nice then I will order the rest;)

Purple is my color theme and here are some shortlisted bridesmaid dress that my lovely bridesmaid have voted the most. Maybe you guys can give me some comments....What do you guys think? Which is nicer???

My Prewedding Shooting Day

Overall it is a good shooting day...the weather is just nice in the morning for outdoor shooting, and it rained a bit only after we have done our outdoor shots....;)

Victor the photogrpaher and Jessy the makeup artist are doing the whole shooting for us...and I like Jessy's makeup and hair style...its exactly the way that I wanted....especially the "Audrey bun"...making Amber's lace ribbon turning out to be so oustanding loh...I also like the English veil...kind of elegant...which suit the Carcosa setting very well;)

Just one thing that I am worried....I look a bit fat on pic:( Hope Victor can catch the right angle which will make me look slimmer and prettier...;p

Yeah!! My Completed Wedding Gown

Yeah!!! My wedding gown is finally completed loh! Since the last Nov that I visited The Wedding Shop, and have been trying on this gown for more than 5 times..... it is finally completed. I really need to thank Amber(the designer) for the patience and her hard work on my gown.

The best part of the gown is the bottom of the gown....gathered flips with france lace attached. And Amber said she actually used her own hand to stitch the gathers...I really like it;)

Once I have been wondering whether the gown is too simple and plain. And thinking of maybe adding some crystal or some beads on the top of the gown. But lots of them said the gown is simply gorgeous and nice...especially the bottom of the gown. So I have made up my mind that I wont change anything on this gown.

1st trial on My Evening Gown

About a year plus, today I got the 1st look at my evening gown....been waiting for very very long. Its about 70% done....more france lace to be sewed. Hehe....now its a bit sexy as there should be covered with more lace....;p

Last Fitting My Wedding gown

This is the last fitting on my wedding gown. There is still a little bit to alter and it will be fully completed loh....phewwww...finally! Just in time for my coming prewedding shoot end month.

The gown is more fitting now with a longer tail attached with France Lace. I will take more of the gown in more details once I get it next week. I am growing to like the gown more each time I try it on...;) Any Comment???

Anderson's 1st Fitting on His Tuxedo

Initially he intended to have his Tux done in Bangkok, but time he so rush as he will only be in stayed in Bangkok for 2 days. So left him only choice to have it done here locally. Recommended by my sister, we went to State Tailor. She said she was recommended by Miss Malaysia woh....price reasonable and good workmanship.

When we parked our car and walking towards the shop, we both were a bit stunned by the outlook of the shop....it was an old looking shop;p But sister insisted that their workmanship is good....and Anderson confirmed his tux there.

This day is the 1st fitting, and they worked quite fast too...less than a week and we can go for 1st trial. The top is quite big and needed to be altered. However, the pant fitted very well. Next week will be able to go for collection.

My wedding Accessories

Making decision is always a headache thing....just like when I was choosing the right accessories to match my gowns. But luckily with the help from Jooyin, I got 3 sets of earrings and a bracelet yesterday.

Actually its kind of difficult to make decision without putting on the gown, as you wont know and its so hard to imagine whether it really suit the gown or not....:( But still, I have to make decision loh....;p

I got to know her from the wedding magazines. And I did order some cuppies from her for my mother's birthday last year.

She will be one of my choice of wedding favors and "kar lui pian".

My PreWedding shoots is set on 29/03/09

After changing the date of our prewedding shoot for few times, finally we got to set on this date...29/03/09. Initially it was set on 01/04/09 (Aprilfool Day;p), but Anderson is too busy with his career schedule(he has to go for a company trip to Jakarta). So we have to change the date again. We are supposed to postpone the date to a later date, but because of some reason we have make it few days before our initial date;p

The reason??? Hehe....its because we will be planning to go to Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) for a short holiday on 07/04/09. And knowing that the weather there will be hot and sunny there, for sure I will get myself tan. Thats right, I dont wanna get myself tan and then go for the shooting:p. So....the shooting has to be set before the trip loh....hehe;)

We will be going to Carcosa for our prewedding shoots and will be taken by Covershots. I am praying hard for that the God can give us a great weather on that day....no rains, not to sunny....good enough amount of clouds....;) Just like the weather when we had our ROM.

From now till 29th, less than a month....kind of rush for us as there are a lots of things for us to get prepared for the shooting. And I am a bit worried that we will not get all things done on time.

Things for me to worry....

My wedding gown.... The next fitting of my wedding gown is on 14/03/09, some alternation may be needed. Hope Amber will get the gown altered right and, I will loose a bit weight and not putting on weight;p I am actually still trying hard to get myself on diet and lose a bit body fat. Hope to slim down a bit as I will always get magnified a bit in photograph;p
My evening gown... I have not even have the 1st fitting on my evening gown yet loh....:s My designer, Eric Wong, is still working hard on it. And he told me that I will only get to try it on next week.....hope it will look nice.
Anderson's Tux.... He has not get his tux tailor yet leh....:( We are planning to get this done this coming sat, hope we will have it done on time for the shooting.
Accessories to matching my gowns....Luckily, my dear friend Jooyin, is able to help me on this....she is a accessories distributor here in KL. We will pay a visit to her shop this sat as well. Hope we can get something nice to match my gown for the shooting.

Meaning...its a busy month for us, all weekend are almost occupied to prepare for the shooting.

2nd & 3rd Trial of my Gown

I have done my 2nd trial on my gown last 2 weeks, it looks a lot fitter and the lace is attached temporary for me to see. I am growing to like the gown....should be nice loh;p

Too bad that I cant show any picture here as Anderson didnt bring his camera there....:(

This coming sat will be the 3rd trial, maybe the last trial. I will make sure he bring his camera to take some pictures for me.

I have also asked Amber to make me a hair accessories....something like the below pic, which is the hair style that I want;) What to you think? Amber said she will use the same lace of my gown to make into ribbon and with a simple bow....I have not seen it yet, but will see this coming sat.

There is also another veil, which she called the english veil....something like the below pic. This veil will be used for my photo shooting and for my wedding dinner. Whereas the longer veil will be used for photo shooting and on my wedding day customary;)

Dont know why, but I like these type of English veil a lot. I have seen Amber's uncomplete piece, even though not complete, but it look nice. She said she has been looking for the right piece of net for a year and finally found this piece from Italy recently. And lucky me, maybe its fate, I got the chance to see her doing this veil and said "Amber, does this veil suit my gown?". The moment she said "yah", I am so happy. But the thing is, its quite expensive loh:(

Lucky me again, Anderson let me have it;p He said, " Have it loh, you will always get what you like mah!"

1st trial on My Wedding Gown

This day I am so excited that I will be able to dress on my wedding gown that I have been waiting for it to be ready for few mths....Just like when I went on trying my ROM qipao, so worried that it wont look nice on it;p

It is almost done....but it a bit too loose, Amber (the designer) said that I lost weight woh...hehe...really???;p There is still a lot to alter and the tail is not fully done yet....the lace is not up yet;)

This coming sat will be the 2nd trial...hope it will be better and fitter.....;) Any comment???

My Custom Made Wedding Shoes From ZangToi

Spending quite sometime searching for my wedding shoes and finally I got to settle down on Zang Toi. I think I got a very good deal for the shoes loh;p

I have tried a lots of brand before I found this pair of shoes. I 1st tried this shoes in Parkson@Garden. Unfortunately, my size is not available for a new pair and left only the display. I dont like the display loh;p

I then went to the Lot 10 boutique to look for the shoes as I still like that pair the most. Initially I thought I would not have fate with the shoes as size is not available for me there too. I am so happy when the salesman told me that they can tailor made the shoes for me leh! From the design that I like, I still can add or change anything that I like. So I add some favorite crystals on it and change the design of the buckle;p

Moreover, the good deal is, they give me the same price as those off the rack shoes! Normally, price of custom made shoes is double. They are giving me special and immediately, I ordered 2 pairs! One for my matching wedding gown, and another one for my evening gown.

Below is my custom made shoes by Zang Toi, I like the slim and thin heels, ivory white satin material and with some white crystals....

This is my custom made black shoes with lace on the front and the heels. I got this design from one of their design, but their is in red and I make it black to match my lacey black evening gown.....

Finally my ROM is over.....kind of miss this event though;p Everything happened so fast...I had the most wonderful day of my life!!! Very blessed, we had a very lovely ROM that day! The weather is just nice.....the gods had been hearing all our prayers....thanks those who pray for me yah!;)

Everything goes smoothly, nicely & lovely....special thanks to my family & friends who helped me, Fifoto for the shooting(cant wait to see the pic), Grace for the makeup, Eric Wong for the lovely gown, Evan for the decorations and last but not least Anderson...my beloved hubby, for letting me have this dream wedding comes true....

11/08~My Completed ROM Qipao

Finally, my ROM qipao is completed....It looks very different from the 1st trial, cos he has done up all the beads & sequince. Does it looks the one Karen Mok is wearing? Hehe....its not 100% the same, but almost lah...;) Don you think so? I wont wear it on now....would wanna wait till our ROM and gave everyone a surprise;p

11/08~My ROM Qipao (Trial Session)

Its only about 2 weeks before my ROM and my tailor finally called me for the 1st trial for my Qipao. Very nervous, excited and a bit worried loh...worried that I wont look nice on it loh...

Luckily, it turn out quite nice neh...Its still not 100% done, only about 50% done. The beads & the sequince is not completed yet.

Its about 1+ months before my ROM....really need to go through my ROM preparation checklist. Venue confirmed, Decoration confirmed, Gown confirmed, invitation card done, name list done and photography confirmed...

Few more things to be done and shopped. And we went for shopping almost every weekend...busy busy leh;p

09/08~My ROM Gown & Wedding Evening Gown

Actually I have been searching through the net for designs of Qipao. And few yrs ago, I did bought 2 nos of thai silk from Bangkok and I wanna make use of them to make into 2 qipao, 1 for my ROM and another for my wedding dinner.

Again, I have spent lots of time surfing for the right design and I have found these....

Actually its a risk for me to just based on the pic to tailor made the above 2 qipao. I asked my mom to bring me to his tailor, Eric Wong, famous tailor for qipao and asking him for advice. He said I will look good in both woh....;p But of cos it wont be exactly the same, due to the color of my thai silk and the beads & sequince that he has. But still I am sure it will be quite special;) And for the black one, it wont be as sexy as the pic lah....;p

Actually we need to place order with him at least 2 yrs ahead, but bcos my mom is his regular and long term cutomer, he promised that he will rush one of them out for my ROM. Yeah!!!

So eager to see the end result....

09/08~My ROM invitation card

We are supposed to order our ROM invitation from Jakarta, due to smaller quantity, they adviced me not to order from there. So Anderson suggested to handmade ourselves. Immediately, I thought of my sister-in-law, Ching. She would be the designer and I will help her to make them;p And she is happy the moment that I ask her for help....she is happy that I appreciate her design;p

Given her sometime to design the card, and our logo. The card ideal was all from her and it turn out good. As for our logo, Anderson wanted a Juicy Couture font....and she designed this...what do u think?

We actually spent about more than a month to get the card out, including sourcing for materials. Its all total handmade...cant believe myself doing them....

08/08~ROM & Wedding dinner Venue

1st, I would like work a budget, and find a venue for my ROM as well as my next yr wedding dinner venue.

As mentioned previously, I did plan to have a Garden wedding....and therefore Carcosa Seri Negara was my 1st choice. We make an appointment there, view the place and ask for the quotation. Indeed, they are quite expensive like everybody is saying....but I really like the environment and the feel....cozy, private and quiet place. Fortunately, Anderson agreed to let me have the ROM there. He is kind of disagree initially, as he felt its a bit overpricing. But after searching so many hotels with garden, we still find this place nicer. I like the feeling of the vintage, english style....So this is the place;) I was so happy that Anderson agreed to have our ROM there....its like part of my dream comes true...;p

For our wedding dinner venue for next yr....We actually spent lots of weekend to visit the hotels in KL to view the ballroom and ask for quotation. We find it kind of difficult to make decision without a guest list in placed. Different hotels has different size of ballroom. We need to know how many guests we gonna invite, then only will know what size of ballroom we need. We visited Westin, Mandarin Oriental, Hilton KL, Le Meridien, Prince Hotel, Sheraton Imperial and lastly JW marriot. When I 1st visited Westin, I kind of like it, but the ballroom is a bit small. They can only accommodate the most 43 tables. I thought we can have more time to decide the venue as our wedding day is next yr Nov mah, but to my surprise, lots of them called me up and said that other people are enquiring. So they need me to quickly confirm. Now all of them plan ways ahead huh.....I thought only we are planning so long ahead.

So Westin is the one which had been booked by other people 1st, so we have to forgo this choice. But lucky we still have lots of choice out there. After long discussion and comparing, we managed to have a good deal with JW Marriot, and Anderson likes the ballroom....he only like the room with a permanant stage, doesnt like portable type of stage;p

Deposit paid, and here we go....out wedding dinner in JW Marriot.

07/08~Jakarta Trip, Wedding Exhibition

After chatting with some friends on the topic about wedding, one of my friends suggested me to order my wedding invitation card in Jakarta. She said they are nice and cheap there....those card is hardly can be found in Malaysia woh....and she given me a link, and I got to know there is a Asia biggest wedding exhibition held in Jakarta.

Immediaterly, I checked with Anderson, when he will be going to Jakarta for business and so as that I can follow him along. And to my blessings, he managed to plan a trip for me to go there and visit the exhibition, at the same time....some sightseeing, 1st time to Jakarta.

The exhibition was a bit disappointing, but I still managed to confirm my invitation card there.

The cards are all very nice, and price also very reasonable loh.....the cards are mostly in hard cover type. Actually, most of the people there are giving hard cover type invitation card, not like those here, normal card. I think I will choose the above one...but I will change the color to suit my theme;)

06/08~Wedding Photographers Searching

Going through the wedding magazines, I got to know that there are lots of wedding studio around in Malaysia, but not all of them have the style that I like.

Actually I have one in mind, since the last time that my brother had his wedding pic taken there, The Covershots.

I dont like those traditional studio type....kind of boring. I like it to be more natural, freestyle. Something like the about pic.

From then, I told myself that I will defintely have my wedding shoot taken there, as at the time, 6 yrs ago, its diffcult to find such style of photography. And nothing change my mind, I signed up with them for my prewedding shoots;)

Things really improved a lot as time goes by, I got to know that, not only Covershots did such photography, but lots and lots of them doing the same style, even more stylo and artistic loh...Initially, we are thinking to engaged them to take our ROM & wedding event as well. But Anderson asked me to check out other photographers, maybe they will be nicer, cos he said, we can also have different style of photography. True also lah...;p

Then I found this, Fifoto Photography and I like them a lot. Therefore, I made an appointment to meet up with the founder, Fiona, to check out their package. Hmmm.....they are the one loh..They are a group of young and energitic photographers, like their style and passion for photography;)

And we have decided to sign up with them for our event photography, our ROM & wedding day.

06/08~Searching for my Wedding Gown

I did lots of searching for the design of the wedding gown that I like. But I really dont know what kind of design will suit me loh....:s

My sis adviced me to go and try out all type of wedding gown, see which type suit me woh...so I took her advice, made appointment with a few bridal gown shop. I only choose those that can tailor made wedding gown, cos i wanna tailor make my gown. I got some contact from those local wedding magazines, namely, Pretty In White, That Special Occasion, The Wedding Shop, etc.

I tried few gowns in each of the shop....then I know what style suit me;)

Below this the gown that I looks good on, so I will want a halter neck, fliping style, something similar on the top, but not the buttom.

I did some research again on similar desgin and i found this....

I like the bottom...mermaid style, with a bit of tail...what do u think?;)

11/05/08~My ROM & Wedding Date

We went to 羅鐵筆 for consultation on my wedding date. I think most people will know this Mr Loh, especially those already married loh.....This shop has been providing this service since my mother's time woh....Now getting more and more commercial. They come with a nice n cute box with everything you will need and to know about the wedding.....professional leh;p

My Wedding date is set on 28th Nov 2009. And my ROM will be fixed on 06/12/2008.

05/08~My Wedding Band

So happy that we have finally decided on our wedding band. Cartier....the LOVE collection, a white gold wedding band, thicker size for Anderson and thinner size with a diamond for me;)

We have been searching around lots of brands...Love diamond, SooKee, Tiffany, etc... But we still like Cartier the most. And we like the story behind their LOVE collection, interesting;p

05/08~My wedding Planning

Now that I am engaged....Next I will have to plan my wedding...;) Initially, we planned to have our wedding early next yr, but we find it a bit too fast....as I need lots of time to planned and organized.

Anderson bought lots of wedding magazines for me, and those magazines really helped. From there I got lots of ideals for my dream wedding;p

First, I would like to plan for my ROM, Anderson wants us to register 1st, then out customary next yr woh.....Maybe he is scared that I will leave him before our wedding...hehe...

Then, we have to go for wedding date consultation, set date for ROM, search for ROM venue, search for wedding gown tailor, evening gown tailor, wedding planner, and many many more lah.....wow...seems like lots of things to do leh:p

Actually, I am thinking of having a garden wedding, which is not very normal here in Malaysia. Maybe because of the weather. And from the Mag, I have found a place for my ROM....Carcosa Seri Negara. A very nice and cozy place for Garden wedding loh....What do u think?

20/04/08~He Proposed to Me in Taipei;)

He proposed to me in Taipei.....why is it in Taipei? Cos our relationship started there;p Really a surprise for me loh....So thats the reason why he brought me to Taipei loh....to proposed to me:p

Actually I did always ask him to bring me back to Taipei yearly since we started our relationship, but he is always busy to bring me there.....:( I never thought he would bring me there and proposed to me loh:p

He brought me to the place that we have been 6 yrs ago and he suddenly brought out a big diamond ring....;) Hehe.....I like the ring so much....A Lazare diamond, they claimed they are the most beautiful diamond in the world. Its a 1.12 carat Lazare Diamond, G color VS1. Very beautiful diamond loh! I never expect that he will bought me a carat diamond. Thought maybe just 0.85 carat or a bit bigger, but not bigger than 1 carat.

Love it so much dear......My answer to him......Yes I do....and we plan to have our customary next yr end.
